The 28th Day of Love
Memory Verse— 2 Timothy 4:8. Also to all who have longed for his appearing.
The Prayer— Help me to love the appearance of Jesus in the life of others.
The Affirmation— Today I will look for Jesus in others.
The Scripture Lesson— 2 Timothy 4:3-8
The Meditation
When you are loving, you are looking for the Lord.
You may see Him in a hungry beggar; you may
be near Him in a suffering child! You may feel
His presence as you pray with a prisoner.
Jesus appears:
—In our minds as we think of Him.
—In our hearts as we love Him.
—In our worship as we adore Him.
—In our ears as we hear Him.
—In our fellowship when we love Him.
Do you love His appearing? Your Christian
answer is a joyous, “Yes!”
Because when Jesus is near, the whole world is
different! We live! We love! We laugh! We
linger in His lovely presence, and lo—He is
with us always!
