The Meditation

Here are some great battles over money in the lives

of different types of people.

The battle with selfishness. What I have is mine.

The extremely generous person who never saves for a rainy day.

The careless person who does not love money enough to know what becomes of it.

The jealous person who hates to see others make more than they make.

The debt slave person who is always borrowing more than they should.

The juggler of funds, who robs Peter to pay Paul.

The unfair master who does not pay a just wage.

The salary seeker whose chief goal is not service, but reward.

The foolish investor who is always going to get rich quick.

The person who has money for what they want, but very little for the needs of others.

The victim of success who doesn’t feel that they need God and think they have honored the church when they make a small donation.

The Bible still says: “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil”.
